My good pal Tony Todd (don’t believe me? Look at that pic!) is going behind the camera for a change with CATALYTIC, which is being produced by newly formed production company Assembly Line (SUSHI GIRL).

According to Variety, the flick follows a magician as he embarks on a road trip during an impending supernatural apocalypse.

Supernatural apocalypse? Count me in!

Assembly Line partners Destin Pfaff, Neal Fischer, Kern Saxton and Suren M. Seron will produce the film.

No word on whether or not Todd will star in the film. As it’s his directorial debut, perhaps he’ll want to wear just the director’s hat? I guess we’ll see.
