Genre veteran Tony Todd (CANDYMAN) has found the perfect catalyst to propel him into the director’s chair.

Variety is reporting that Todd is planning to helm CATALYTIC, which he will also pen, for Assembly Line Pictures. Assembly Line consists of Kent Saxton, Destin Pfaff, Neal Fischer and Sureon M. Seron, who recently produced the Todd-starring SUSHI GIRL (which Saxton co-wrote with Pfaff and directed). CATALYTIC tells of a magician on a road trip amidst an apocalypse.
